I decided to break up my YA dystopia streak with some interesting books I’d been meaning to pick up. A few days ago they arrived via Amazon and I was so excited I took the above photo. All of those books came out to just under $11, so it was a great deal and perfect excuse to finally purchase them. I ordered the following:
Little Bee by Chris Cleave
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows
Sarah’s Key by Tatiana de Rosnay
They’re all very popular and supposed to be good. It was a tough decision, but I’m starting on Little Bee first.
Have you read any of these books? If you have, did you enjoy it?
In addition to the books, I also treated myself to breakfast in bed this weekend. I made my favorite recipe for coffee house scones and added a few handfuls of blueberries to the dough. Always makes for the perfect Sunday treat.
